The Online Student Business Community (OSBC) is a rapidly growing group of high school students who all share the same interests in business.

Most students are not exposed to real businesses and professions until college. For this reason most high school students have little knowledge about the business world and can not further their interests in the subject.

The purpose of the community is therefore to create a place where students from around the nation can learn about the business basics. By giving the members of the community brief lessons about business concepts it enables them to have a leg up on their future competition in the work place.

The OSBC also increases business knowledge through hands on games and competitions which imitate the mechanics of certain business fields.

Aside from gaining business knowledge, the members of the community benefit by interacting with other students who are also interested in the same fields of work. This system provides a foundation for future business contacts.

Overall, members of the OSBC benefit from being part of a large online entity and are able to enhance their interests in business with others, instead of being isolated in their own schools.
